Monument Helitack is a ten-person wildland fire crew based in Monument, Colorado. MHC is focused on providing highly trained firefighters and aviation managers for initial attack and large fire support regionally and nationally.
Our crew consists of our Crew Supervisor, Assistant, two Squad Leaders, four Senior Firefighters, and two seasonal employees. We are an exclusive use crew designated for initial attack, but flexibility is mandatory as our orders range from initial attack through extended attack, recon, aerial ignition, logistical support and medical emergency calls. We can adapt to meet the needs of fire managers anywhere in the lower 48 and Alaska and spend a good deal of time on the road every season.
